Why These Prices?
Free Features: Minimal Cost
Creating designs, downloading PNGs, and exporting MP4 videos costs us almost nothing because:
- All rendering happens in your browser (client-side)
- Video encoding also runs on your device, not on our servers
- Images are generated on-demand from your device's memory
- We pay nothing for compute on these operations
Since our cost is near zero, we keep these features free forever.
Cloud Storage: Cheap Enough to Give Away
Saving your designs to the cloud does have real costs: database writes, file storage for your photos, and backups. But per user they amount to cents, so we cover them.
Cloud sync is free with an account, and it stays free. We would rather have you saving designs and coming back than nickel-and-dime you for kilobytes.
Video Export: Your Browser Does the Work
MP4 video export is free because we engineered it to render entirely in your browser. Frame composition and encoding happen on your device, so there is no server bill to pass on to you.
The trade-off: export speed depends on your hardware. We think that is a fair deal for a free feature.
AI Text Generation: Third-Party API Costs
AI text generation is the one feature with a meaningful per-use cost:
- We use Google's Gemini API to write and rewrite your post text
- Each generation costs us real money per API call
- That is why it is the only metered feature in the product
Everyone gets 10 generations per month free. Premium raises that to 100. There is no AI image generation in the product; the AI writes text, your photos stay yours.
How We Calculate Pricing
What €19/month Covers
- Your AI quota: the Gemini API calls behind your 100 monthly text generations
- The free infrastructure everyone uses: cloud storage, sync, bandwidth, and hosting
- A 15% operational margin for development and maintenance
- Roughly 5.5% for payment processing (Stripe's fees)
There is no overage billing. If you use all 100 generations, the AI assistant pauses until your quota resets the next month. You will never see a surprise charge from us.
The Trade-Off: No Customer Support
To keep prices low, we provide the service "as is" with no customer support.
What we do:
If we discover a bug, we'll fix it in due time. The service works for the vast majority of users.
Providing customer support would require hiring a support team, which would force us to increase prices significantly. If you need guaranteed support, consider tools with enterprise pricing.
You can unsubscribe anytime if you're not happy with the service or our approach.
Payment Processing
We use Stripe to process all payments securely.
- Stripe charges us a percentage plus a fixed fee per transaction, with extra fees for international cards
- We account for an average of 5.5% in total payment processing costs
- All payment data is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
- We never see or store your credit card information
You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, and view invoices through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your account settings.
